At St. Joseph Medical Center, we work with you, your physician and other healthcare professionals to provide a safe, comfortable environment for infusion. Our outpatient infusion services may serve as an alternative to hospitalization or as a means of decreasing the length of a hospital stay..

Services

Our infusion clinic provides several types of infusion therapies including:

Transfusion of blood products
IV antibiotics
Iron replacement therapy
Hydration/supportive therapy
Immune therapy
Therapeutic phlebotomy
Vascular access management
Infusions and injections to treat conditions including, but not limited to, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease and anemia

Our Staff

Our staff of registered nurses are specially trained in infusion therapy and are certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration through the Oncology Nursing Society.

We collaborate with pharmacists who understand the complexities of delivering IV pharmaceutical care.

What to Expect

We ask that you eat breakfast and take your morning medications before your appointment.

Our private bays are equipped with a cart or recliner, TV, Wi-Fi, and adequate seating for your loved ones. For your comfort, you may want to bring a sweater or light jacket.

Location

Infusion Services are located in suite 206 B near the main entrance to the Medical Mall, entrance B.

Hours and Scheduling

An appointment and physician’s order are required for treatment. We are open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday –Friday. We may accept same-day appointments.
