Kansas City, Mo. – Michael E. Sanderl, EdD has been named Vice President, Mission Integration, for Carondelet Health. Sanderl, 35, started in his new position on Thursday, July 1.
Sanderl comes to Carondelet Health from Dominican University in River Forest, Il., where he served as director of University Ministry. He previously served as Dean for Mission and Ministry, faculty member and resident director at his undergraduate alma mater, Saint Mary’s College of California.
Sanderl received his doctorate in education, with an emphasis in Catholic educational leadership, from the University of San Francisco, his master’s degree in theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and his bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Saint Mary’s College of California. He brings a background and passion for Catholic identity, as well as the successful development of mission integration programs and structures.

Sanderl has provided service on the boards of national Catholic organizations and participated at the local, national and international levels on Catholic educational initiatives. Michael and his wife, Stacey, live in Leawood, Ks.
