Kirk Sloan, MD

Dr. Sloan the Chief Medical Officer of St. Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Sloan attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at Mayo in Internal Medicine. He also leads the St. Joseph Hospitalists group along with actively working as a hospitalist. Prior to joining St. Joseph Medical Center, he worked as a hospitalist and the Chief of Medicine at St. Francis Health in Topeka, KS. As a Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sloan’s is responsible for managing the medical staff to provide safe, effective medical services to the community. His contributions have led to improvements in structure, process and quality in nearly every area of our organization. He inspires others to serve the mission, vision, and values of St. Joseph Medical Center, providing a unique perspective with his clinical experience and commitment to delivering high quality patient care.
