Kansas City, Mo.—Carondelet Health announces Heather Beheler, EMBA, is named Vice President and Chief Resource Officer. Beheler is responsible for planning, developing, leading, facilitating, coordinating and implementing all actions needed to manage non-labor spending for Carondelet Health.

Beheler has more than 20 years of health care experience in the Kansas City area. She spent 13 years at Children’s Mercy Hospital in several positions, including her most recent post as the Executive Director of Children’s Mercy Health Network, the physician organization for Children’s Mercy Hospital. In that position, she oversaw daily operations, finance, contracting, network structure, marketing and strategy of the network representing nearly 700 hospital and independent community-based physicians. She managed the development of value-added educational programs, as well as the development of new products and services for network physicians. Prior to her work at Children’s Mercy, she was a Provider Relations Representative at Mid-America Health and also served as an Account Service Representative for Occupational Health Services.

Beheler has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and an Executive MBA from the University of Missouri Kansas City Bloch School of Business. Beheler is also active in the community. She serves on the Board of Directors for Jackson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
