Jodi Fincher, CEO

Fincher started her career as a nurse tech in the Emergency Department at Saint John Hospital Leavenworth KS, in 1987 while attending nursing school at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Upon completion of her Associates in Nursing Degree (ADN), she went to work in the Intensive Care Unit at Providence Medical Center where she worked for the next 11 years specializing in the care of post open heart patients. During that time, she advanced her degree, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Kansas and achieving her Critical Care Nursing Certification (CCRN) which she maintains to this day. In 1999 she accepted the position of Director of Nursing at Saint John Hospital where she worked for the next 10 years while also continuing to work in the ICU. During this time, she completed her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Saint Mary. In her spare time, Fincher also coached women’s high school and AAU basketball, which was an extension of her love of teaching. Fincher became active in the Kansas City Critical Care Association, teaching multiple courses in cardiac pathophysiology, EKG interpretation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Trauma Nurse Certification, and Pediatric Life Support. Eventually, she accepted the positon of Director of Education for Providence Medical Center and Saint John Hospital. In 2013, upon the sale of the hospitals to Prime Healthcare, Fincher accepted the position of Chief Nursing Officer and Administrator of Saint John Hospital. In 2015 she was promoted to Regional Director of Nursing for Prime Healthcare, overseeing clinical operations and regulatory readiness for nine Midwest Prime hospitals. Fincher enjoys traveling with her husband, their five children and one grandson. She has a love for the outdoors, running, snow skiing and all things sports.
