Certified Breast Patient Navigators
Just as a car’s GPS system helps you to navigate with ease to your destination, our certified-breast-patient navigator guides the newly diagnosed breast cancer patient through the complex healthcare system. During a one-on-one consultation, patients are given educational resources, assisted in developing their plan and supported during a very emotional and vulnerable time. Many patients see the breast patient navigator as their support or “go-to” person. Our certified-breast-patient navigator have extensive experience in oncology and patient education, and our multidisciplinary approach increases patient satisfaction, safety and quality of care. The breast patient navigator guides patients through the diagnostic evaluation, educates and support each patient empowering them to make informed treatment decisions, and remains a support system throughout their cancer treatment journey.
