St. Joseph Medical Center is hosting a free community event marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Looking for Laughter in All the Wrong Places, presented by comedian and world-champion juggler Scott Burton, shows us how comedy and joy can help us through life challenges.
Burton believes laughter is good medicine, and he will make us laugh during the presentation Thursday, October 9, 6-8 p.m. in the Alex George Auditorium at St. Joseph Medical Center, I-435 and State Line Road in Kansas City. He will share his story about his battle with cancer and how being able to laugh through tough times is important in healing.
Don’t miss a night of food, drinks and fun. We will also be celebrating breast cancer survivors’ birthdays of living after cancer. Bring your friends. The event is free, but seating is limited. To make your reservation, call 816-943-2584.
