Every year the leadership honors the employees who have had the most impactful Great Catches of the year with Golden Glove recognition.
Please join me in congratulating John Noonan who made a great medication catch. John’s observation prompted the change of storage location for 2 high risk drugs that were look-alike and sound alike.
Please also congratulate Christopher Kimes who received the Honorable Mention distinction. Christopher received TPN intended for one of our patients but it was actually formulated and labeled for a patient at St. Luke’s South. Christopher resolved the situation for our patient and also reached out to SLS where the wrong TPN had already been spiked and had started infusing into the wrong patient.
